I was trying to think of a food that would grow in a cave but the only thing I
could think of was mushrooms.
I was also trying to portray the feeling of another world which is the feeling
I get every time I venture into a cave. As you can see here the local
residents carve the stalactites and stalagmites into dwellings and
architectural structures they deem fashionable for their culture. I'm not
sure how much cream of mushroom and bat guano soup I could stand though.
was deliberating between fantastic art and surrealism for this piece. I
would have to say it is surrealism.
