definitive shapes within a scene of transitions.
All of nature's components and underlying
structure is composed of geometry.
Solid geometry and plane geometry.
Geometry of atomic particles and molecular chains.
Man's objects symbolized
by the solid geometric objects in the painting
reflect this structuring.
For some reason geometric
shapes appeal to me. My favorite classes, other than art, were plane
geometry and solid geometry. Probably because they both deal with shapes
and arrangements of objects and can also be used as a basis for building
things, such as furniture and architecture. This piece, because of the
transitions and floating objects is categorized as surrealism.
