"A Canyon by any
Canyons in the southwest seem to take on an eerie feeling of having a life
of their own. Faces and shapes within the rocks come to life as the
traveling sun moves the shadows. Only a small amount of water is needed to
bring to the surface dormant plants. A rainbow is sometimes visible, as the
mist from water that is present, catches the rays of the sun.
believe this piece is surrealism in nature mainly because of the theme.
The imagery could very well be realistic except for the rainbow stem and
possibly the rocks in the shape of a woman, even though I have seen many
rocks with human and animal shapes.
