I have put together this selection of paintings that are from 30 years of consciously producing images specifically for this book. I have also produced all new black and white inkings for this volume as well.
There are over 150 images that enhance the pages of this volume. 126 full page color images of paintings, 13 half page images of paintings, 19 new black and white inkings (none are repeated from "The Art of Visualizing Black & White") a painting technique which shows how to visualize and develop an image from an abstract beginning and a new pencil and ink technique which shows how to visualize and develop an ink drawing. Also included are a dozen pages of text discussing the painting approach, symbolism, composition, inspiration, technique and the purpose of art. A total of 160 pages.
There are approximately 40 more different images in this volume then there are on this website thumbnails page. The inspiration for these works come from all aspects of nature, animals, mankind, philosophical concepts and dreams. Every painting gives the viewer something to think about and a world of enchantment to step into.
Almost all the painting are conceived by an abstract process which then develops structure and form as I continually work the developing imagery. The results are an array of fantasy, imagination and surrealism.
